How to use this workflow
Allow and check the microphone
Start a recording and allow microphone access. Speak a short test phrase, then listen back before recording something important.
Record, pause or resume
Use pause for breaks and resume when ready. The current limit is ten minutes of active audio; an overall session also has a sixty-minute wall-clock cap including pauses.
Stop, preview and save
Stop to finalize the take. Preview it, then download WAV or MP3. Confirm that the saved file plays before closing the tab.
Make a useful voice memo
Begin with a spoken title or date if it will help identify the take later. Keep a consistent distance from the microphone and leave a short pause before and after the important material so you can trim it cleanly.
The recorder captures mono microphone audio. It does not transcribe speech, record every participant in a call automatically or capture system playback merely because sound is coming from your speakers.
Recording limits and saving
The recorder can use temporary browser storage and falls back to memory when appropriate. Temporary buffers are not a promise of recovery after a crash or of an archive you can return to later. Long takes depend on the device and available storage.
Keep the page in the foreground and check status after an interruption. Microphone loss, operating-system restrictions or closing a tab can interrupt a recording. For a long or important session, make a short trial recording first and keep separate backups where appropriate.
Common questions
Does this record the computer’s internal audio?
The recording input is the microphone. There is no system-audio or browser-tab capture selector in this tool.
Can I remove silence after recording?
Yes. Download the take and open it in the audio trimmer to keep a continuous range and add fades.
