How to use this workflow
Load a recording and choose a style
Choose Slowed + Reverb, Slowed Only, Sped Up or Nightcore. These presets set a starting playback rate and reverb configuration.
Adjust rate and room
The rate control spans 50–150% in one-percentage-point steps. Adjust room type, decay, pre-delay, high cut and wet mix, or disable reverb entirely.
Generate after listening
Preview a vocal phrase and a dense section. Generate the effect, check the ending and download WAV or MP3. The result can include additional time for the reverb tail.
Why slowing also lowers pitch
This tool changes playback rate. At 80%, a four-second source becomes approximately five seconds before any reverb tail, and a 440 Hz tone becomes 352 Hz. Those values are calculated examples, not listening-test results.
The Slowed + Reverb preset starts at 85% with Large Hall reverb; Slowed Only uses 85% with reverb off. Sped Up uses 125% with reverb off, and Nightcore uses 130% with a modest Plate mix. Presets are editable.
Keep the effect from becoming muddy
A long tail can overlap the next chord or lyric. Reduce the wet mix or decay if words lose definition. High cut darkens the reflections; it does not remove all noise from the source.
Slow rates increase output length and buffer requirements. The renderer may reject a long file on memory grounds or lower output gain when the combined signal would overload. Try a shorter excerpt while choosing the sound.
Common questions
Can I slow the music and keep its original key?
Use the audio speed workflow in the pitch changer: keep semitones at zero and reduce the separate speed control. This page intentionally links rate and pitch.
Does the tool include songs or grant remix rights?
You supply the recording. Processing a file does not establish permission to publish or distribute someone else’s music.
